Having lived in Tunisia for several years, Kyle Schafer follows in the footsteps of many artists who chose the land of ancient Africa for its light or subtle identities.

Following the footsteps of Paul Klee, Karol Szymanowsky, and Gustave Flaubert, Kyle is deeply inspired by his homeland. Coming from a classical musical tradition, combining gospel and spirituals, Kyle Schafer is now tempted by new encounters and blends that blend his Tunisian amazement with the purest jazz.

In Tunisian Vibes, the freshness of the sound and its singularity are born from the enthusiasm of Kyle Schafer on piano, the unique touch of Pierre Vaiana on saxophone, and the enthusiasm of Wassim Benrhouma on bass and Malek Lakhoua on drums, two musicians with Tunisian repertoire in their blood.

Between unusual arrangements and unbridled solos, Tunisian Vibes explores a pluralistic jazz style and dresses Tunisian heritage in new clothes.
