Fresh and inspired compositions played by a group whose complicity continues to grow give "Noordzee" its very particular tone – a jazz record that makes you want to watch the sky and run barefoot through the sand.

Originally a trio, the group found in Joachim Badenhorst an ideal partner in 2004. The result is four singular talents that bring their audience places they never thought it would go, meeting Lennie Tristano, Nathalie Loriers and John Talyor, with glimpses of Arvo and Bach.
