Flanked by two masters of the guitar, Mauro Pawlowski and Pierre Vervloesem, the world’s most eccentric big band presents “Terms of Em-barr-ass-ment”, an album in homage of Frank Zappa.

"Homage to Zappa or not, he's dead anyway". Is there any artist crazier than Flat Earth Society? Perhaps not, but then again, there was Frank – Zappa, that is.

In ‘Terms of Embarrassment’ the Flat Earth Society, in combination with guitar gods Pierre Vervloesem and Mauro Pawlowski, is paying homage to the pleasantly disturbed artistic jack-of-all-trades.

Mauro Pawlowski, known for his outlandish taste for musical experiments, is a major figure in Belgian rock. He was, after all, the leader of Evil Superstars and a member of dEUS.

Pierre Vervloesem, avant-garde guitarist and a regular member of Flat Earth Society, has been called the "Belgian Frank Zappa ". Known as an experimenter in sounds and instruments, had already paid homage to Zappa by dedicating a minute of silence to him on the last track of his album "Home Made" in 1994.

Don’t expect covers, but rather a concert which will make Zappa’s trusted moustache shine once more from the grave. It is an evening of fresh material, embarrassing moments, overly long guitar solos, stirring group passages and a smattering of ‘Zappaesque’ mutations.

The tracks on this album were recorded live in 2014 over a series of concerts in Boomtown/Handelsbeurs, Ghent Stadsschouwburg, Mechelen, Lantaren Venster, Rotterdam Stadsschouwburg, Sint-Niklaas Chassé Theater and Breda.
