Daniel Miranda

Daniel Miranda is a gratuated geograph from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He attented musical studies with two famous guitarists belonging to the “new wave” of brasilian instrumental music in Rio : Luis Flavio Alcofra and Bartolomeu Wise.

He begins his profesionnal career in solo at the age of 16. After he used scientific methodology to find the roots of the brasilian music, Daniel Miranda is invited, in 1996, by the foundation of Culture of Petrópolis – Rio de Janeiro to teach about the history of Popular Brasilian Music as part of the project “Atelier Musical” (“Musical Workshop”).Website
