Virna Nova
Originally from southern France, Virna Nova is a guitar player with multiple influences. She won the 1st prize at the “Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris” in classical guitar in 2001, and performed with Roland DYENS (Musicora Festival in Stockholm).
An impromptu trip to Brazil in 2001 gave him the opportunity to play, especially with Philippe Baden Powell, she was conquered by the style that combines jazz and Brazilian music. Now in solo (guitar, vocals) and with a duet with Tricia McTeague, she plays on stage in Paris to present its own directory (samba, soul, funk, reggae ..) and accompanying Manou Gallo (former bassist for Zap Mama ) in the Women Acoustic Band
